Coachman Club Pike Lake Fun Run 2023 and an update

Sunday June 4, 2023 the Coachman Car Club held their annual car show at
Pike Lake, about 20 minutes outside of Saskatoon. There was an excellent turn out and so many gorgeous cars,
both new and old.
Our club had a good turnout, which was wonderful to see. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky.
We had a picnic and a club meeting. Much thanks to Shawn Bolton, Chuck
Como and Garry Hassel for organizing the food and cold drinks. It’s was deli-
cious.

It was announced that Wayne Giesbrecht has decided to step down as Club President, but will be staying as an active member. Thank you so
much for everything you have done for the Club over the years Wayne!
Chuck Como will be staying on as Club Vice President, Garry Hassel will remain as Treasurer and Shawn Bolton as Executive CEO in charge of merchandising.

An all call was done to see
if there was anyone interested in taking on the position of Club President.
Scott Nolin stated that he was interested. He was then nominated by Garry Hassel. A vote was taken and
Scott Nolin was named our new Club President. Congratulations Scott, we know you will put your all in to the Club.
I also want to mention that we have two new email addresses. Please feel
free to email with any questions or concerns about our Club.
skmoparclub@gmail.com and
saskmoparclub@shaw.ca

I am also aware that not all of our members are active on social media. I will do my best to update this website more regularly.

Getting excited for MoparMania coming up August 13. I am really hoping for a record number of vehicles out. I will be sharing a poster with all of the information, as soon as a few bugs are worke out and it is printed.

A few of us were sitting around discussing the possibility of having a swap meet at this year’s MoparMania. I would like to hear from the membership whether they feel this is something we should do or not. That being said, if we go ahead with it, I will be needing some volunteers to help with it.

I look forward to hearing from the membership and getting to know more of you in person.
