Our July monthly meeting will be held on Sunday July 8th at 7 pm in the garage at 322 Konihowski Rd. Still lots to do for Mopar Mania XX!!
The Mopar Club annual general meeting and picnic is being held in conjunction with the Coachman Fun Run this Sunday June 3rd at Pike Lake Park. The car show runs from 10 to 5 but get there early to get a spot. Should be a beautiful weekend!
As this is the general meeting it’s a good chance to catch up on what’s going on in the club and also for members to have some input.
On behalf of Shirley Reineke we would like to thank everyone who showed up to her husband Gordon’s funeral on April 5th 2018. Many members of our club showed up to pay their respects to Gord and show their support for Shirley. It was touching to see all the Mopar Club jackets there. You all made Shirley feel a little better that day and it was a fine tribute to a wonderful man, kind soul and true Mopar man who was always there for his fellow Mopar guys and gals.
Thank you, from Shirley.
The April Mopar Club meeting will be held on Sunday April 8th at 7:00 PM.
There’s lots to discuss so this meeting will be moved to the garage at 322 Konihowski Rd in Saskatoon rather than at the Tim Horton’s, so we can have a better discussion.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Reineke on March 24th 2018. Gord was a long standing member of this club and a good friend to many of us. He will be greatly missed.
Gord’s contributions to the Mopar community and the car hobby in general are too many to list. His love of Mopars and his extensive knowledge were awe inspiring and he was always eager to help out a fellow enthusiast.
Gordon’s funeral will be held on April 5th at 10:30 am at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 114 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon. For those of you wishing to attend there will be several Mopar Club members attending.
This is a time to mourn, remember and celebrate the life of a respected and admired member of our little car community.
