Well, another Mopar Mania is over and judging from the reaction on both show days it was a huge success! There a lot of people to thank as this kind of thing doesn’t happen by itself and it’s nearly impossible to pull of without many people contributing.
We’ll publish a recap of the show and some highlights in the next week or so, but in the mean time there is one person who was left out of the thanks on show day and I wanted to correct that now.
You may have noticed in the last few years that we have had an abundance of door prizes and again this year there was at least something for everyone. In particular we had a set of wheels donated by Kelvin’s Wheel and Polish. Contacting businesses and gathering these donations is a time consuming job and year after year Russel Nesdoly has been out there pounding the pavement and making these contacts. So I am going to take this opportunity to publicly thank Russel for all his hard work. If you see him around in that flashy Challenger of his, try to take the time to thank him as well.
Stay tuned for photos and videos from this years show!

This is an important show for the Mopar cClub and last years turn out was pretty low for us. Let’s make this year a BIG one! See you there!

Our July monthly meeting will be held on Sunday July 8th at 7 pm in the garage at 322 Konihowski Rd. Still lots to do for Mopar Mania XX!!
The Mopar Club annual general meeting and picnic is being held in conjunction with the Coachman Fun Run this Sunday June 3rd at Pike Lake Park. The car show runs from 10 to 5 but get there early to get a spot. Should be a beautiful weekend!
As this is the general meeting it’s a good chance to catch up on what’s going on in the club and also for members to have some input.
On behalf of Shirley Reineke we would like to thank everyone who showed up to her husband Gordon’s funeral on April 5th 2018. Many members of our club showed up to pay their respects to Gord and show their support for Shirley. It was touching to see all the Mopar Club jackets there. You all made Shirley feel a little better that day and it was a fine tribute to a wonderful man, kind soul and true Mopar man who was always there for his fellow Mopar guys and gals.
Thank you, from Shirley.
The April Mopar Club meeting will be held on Sunday April 8th at 7:00 PM.
There’s lots to discuss so this meeting will be moved to the garage at 322 Konihowski Rd in Saskatoon rather than at the Tim Horton’s, so we can have a better discussion.
