Here’s a couple of events that are happening in June:



The Saskatoon Mustang and Classic Ford Club cordially invites your club members to attend our Open House on Thursday June 20, 2019 at the Royal Canadian Air Force Association 2407 Ave C North Saskatoon (by the red airplane).  

Saskatoon Mustang and Classic Ford Club will supply complimentary light snacks and coffee from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.  Cash bar is provided by the Royal Canadian Air Force Association.  Please remember that alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside the Lynx Club.

Please bring your classic car or truck as we will have 46 th Street (on the North Side of the Lynx Club) barricaded off for the Open House.


Volunteers Needed at the Draggins Show

The SAACC – Saskatchewan Association of Automobile Clubs Corp – which The Saskatchwan Mopar Club is a member of, needs volunteers to help at their table at this year’s Draggins Car Show. They are 2 hour shifts between 10 am and 10 pm on both Friday and Saturday. Volunteers will get free admission to the show. You enter through the pass gate. If you wish to volunteer contact Wayne or Garry or email the club.

January Meeting Cancelled

Due to scheduling conflicts the January meeting will not be held.

The February meeting will be our annual winter social.

This year’s social will be on Saturday February 23rd. The location for this year has changed to Smiley’s Buffet and Catering on Circle Drive. No prepaid tickets are required, however we need everyone who is attending to contact the club either by email or by calling Wayne, Chuck, Garry or Shawn to let us know how many are in your party so that we can make a reservation.

‘Hellephant’ in the Room: Mopar Stampedes Into SEMA With 1,000-Horsepower 426 Crate HEMI Engine 
The Mopar brand is stampeding into the 2018 SEMA Show with a brand-new HEMI-engine-powered beast: the “Hellephant” 426 Supercharged Mopar Crate HEMI engine, which turns the crank at a mammoth 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb.-ft. of torque.

Dodge Announces 1320 Club for Drag Racing Enthusiasts at SEMA 
Dodge is accelerating its efforts to champion the achievements of enthusiasts competing in sanctioned quarter-mile drag races with the launch of the all-new 1320 Club. Members of the 1320 Club will have the opportunity to show off their official drag strip accomplishments with pride, and challenge themselves and fellow racers to best their times.

Mopar Announces New Performance Axles for All-new Jeep Wrangler at SEMA 
Mopar has teamed up with Dana to introduce new Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) axles for the all-new Jeep Wrangler. “JPP Ultimate Dana 44™ AdvanTEK” axles will be on display in the Mopar brand’s exhibit at the 2018 SEMA Show.

Jeep Wrangler Earns Ninth Consecutive SEMA ‘4×4/SUV of the Year’ Award 
For the ninth consecutive year, Jeep Wrangler is celebrating “4×4/SUV of the Year” honors at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, following announcement of the 2018 award winners at the SEMA Vehicle Reveal event held outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center on Monday evening, October 29.

Mopar Showcases Customized Ram 1500 Trucks at SEMA 
Mopar showcases two modified Ram 1500 trucks in the Mopar exhibit at the 2018 SEMA Show. The event is the premier automotive specialty products trade show in the world and is scheduled to take place October 30 – November 2 in Las Vegas.
